Cotton Bowl Foundation Raises More Than $27,000 on North Texas Giving Day

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cotton Bowl Foundation enjoyed another successful North Texas Giving Day, raising more than $27,000 for North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Bank.

The Foundation’s fundraising effort was a part of a record day as the 2020 North Texas Giving Day generated $58.8 million from more than 106,000 donors benefiting over 3,200 local nonprofits. This year’s total brings the 11-year total to more than $374 million for the North Texas community.

North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. The 18-hour online giving event managed by the Communities Foundation of Texas is designed to empower every person to give back to the community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.
